Dear Sarah, I was was aquinted with your book That Summer at Walmart, how funny I would never expect to find such a AMAZING book/author at Walmart. After I read it this Summer, I went to school the first day back to find my new Language Arts teacher has around 200 books in her room. I told her I read yours and as soon as I mentioned Sarah Dessen, she took out ever book she has by you and let me read them all. You really touched me. I have hunted down and read and LOVED every single one of your books. I just recently found your website. I am excited for when ever your 11th comes out. You have touched me with every book. It is a possible desire of mine to be a writter some day. I am 13. I live in Bayville New Jersey. It would mean more than the world to me and my school if you could possibley make a visit? My librarian, teacher and I would just die if you came.
If you dont read this I understand your life is hectic, bussy and you have a child.

    Hi!
I’ve read, (and loved) all of your books! They are so realitic, and relatable! I just love them! I know how busy you must be, and I know so many people have asked, but I read on the back of one of your books that you’re from Chapel Hill, NC. I was wondering if maybe, you’d have a chance to come visit High Point, NC! It would be such an honor to meet you!
    Thanks for reading!
    -Olivia

I had no idea that you had a blog!!! Oh My Goodness, l do not exaggerate when I say that practically every girl in seventh grade that goes to New Heights Middle School is in complete, draw dropping love with you! Your books rival some of the hottest names in Writing. Well, its funny because you are part of that list. Anyways, our librarian, just got all of your books and when I go in the library, its hard for me to find one of your books I haven’t read because they’re always checked out!! The other day, I heard that some of the boys were getting their sisters to check out Sarah Dessen. We found that hilarious. In just a short amount of time, you are the adoration of Jefferson, South Carolina!
