I just started reading Sarah Dessen books. All my friends were reading them in high school. And now that I’m out of school, I love to read.. When I’m not working. The first one i came across was, Along for the ride. I absolutely loved it! I’m going to have to read more of them. But I have to say there needs to be a continuance of along for the ride. I want to know more about Eli and Auden, and all the adventures they take together!

I haven’t read the Hunger Games! Well, I read the first 20 pages. NOT my type of book. Why people are obsessed with them, I don’t know. I like your books better. Do you know Megan & Liz? They did a “Favorite Books” thing and Megan like your books! Just search “Meganandliz favorite books” on YouTube. They are awesome! Wish I had read your books before the National Book fest so I could’ve come meet you. I also wish I had known Lisa Yee was gonna be there. Oh well. I got to have lunch with Lauren Myracle! (I’ve met her 3 times and was a guest blogger ) I have to finish The Girl Who Could Fly for black eyed Susan. But I can’t put your books down. (I had to return Lock and Key , but I’m in the middle of Along for the Ride and just started Just Listen, which my BFF has been bugging me to read and I just found it at the library) ok, this comment is too long. I read the hunger games, the first I thought was so moving. I’m currently reading the second and it took me a while to get in to it.
The characters are okay but hopefully in the last book they develop more

I am the mother of a two-year-old boy and here is the piece of advice that I wish someone had given me regarding strollers: smaller is often better in New York.

I frequently have to take my son up and down the stairs at subway stations. This is much easier to do with the $29 Babies R Us umbrella stroller than my City Mini, which I hardly use any more. You can’t get larger strollers through subway turnstiles easily but with the smaller ones, you can swipe your metro card, lift up the stroller and walk through. Also, a lot of aisles in stores are very narrow and it’s much harder to get around with a stroller that has a wide wheel base. And if you need to try on clothes, you can squeeze into a dressing room with a small stroller.

Sprinkler parks. If you have kids in NYC it’s all about the sprinkler parks in the summer — also a really sturdy stroller because they get so much wear and tear they fall apart really fast.

Sarah,
I have read all 3 Hunger Games. I don’t think they are as good as the hype. I just read
John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars, and it is much better written, IMO.

We are going to Emerald Isle this weekend and I am going to have my first shrimp burger,
in your honor.
