Thanks for all the kind words about the new covers. I know that some of you preferred the old ones, and I hear you: I loved them as well. But change is good, even if there are a few growing pains involved along the way. We’ll get used to it together!
Okay, I have to go buy a watch now. Mine broke last week and I swear I keep looking at my bare wrist like it is somehow going to tell the time. I wanted to be all cool and hip and not wear a watch, just use my phone like a lot of people do these days. But I guess I am too old school. Or just too old. My husband said, “Grownups wear watches. Just like grownups have landlines.” (This is one of this cranky-old-man pet peeves, nobody having landlines anymore. I feel like we are the ONLY ones, but oh, well. Old habits die hard. Especially when you are old.)
Yes, I may be a BIT fixated on the age thing today. But I have good reason: tomorrow I turn 42. FORTY-TWO. How the heck did that happen? But as they say, it’s better than the alternative. I’m happy to be here, rocking my watch and landline.

I really love it. When I have the money to, and when I go to the US, I think I won’t resist buying them again. I’ll be great if I could get them signed so they could be even more special.

These new covers I love, but man do I hear you on the growing pains! It just kills me inside a little, because I loved the original covers so much, especially for Keeping the Moon, that summer, The truth about forever and just listen. But I might just love this new cover for Just Listen better, slightly, lol. And don’t worry, its not just older people that like land-lines (and really, that’s not even that old! 42 isn’t even half-way through your life!), I will NEVER get rid of the land-line, even if they make me. And I don’t even have my own cellphone or watch, so I just ask people what time it is or look for a clock.lol

I think everyone (especially people with kids) should have landlines! What if something bad happens and you can’t find your cell phone? Or it’s dead?

I love the new cover yes I did like the old covers but sometimes change can be good and I love watches I have 10(back up in case i lose one) and I’m just 13 so I guess it’s for all ages.

I’m w/ you on the landlines. We have one for a couple of reasons: 1) our cell phones barely work in our old, apparently technology phobic house and 2) I still have one CORDED phone for our landline for when the power is out.
I’m actually with you on the watches too – years at summer camp and I can’t break the habit. Hard to know when to lead the campers in for dinner w/out a watch as the pine trees don’t tend to come w/ clocks.

I really do love this one! Its my favorite cover so far! This is one of my favorite books if NOT my favorite! I always thought about her lying on the bed to the cds Owen gave her! Now the cover has it! Woot! I cant wait to start buying them all over again!

I think this is the only new cover that I like.
I have this fear that one day all the phones are going to die on us and those with landlines are going to be able to call for help.
Maybe that’s just been in the back of my head since learning about War of the Worlds/Orson Welles.
By the way, look at the headphones on your cover. Some would say that is old fashioned, but it looks really great. Think the same about the landline.
watches are for cool and trendy people (plus there are a lot of times when checking the time on your phone is rude)

This is probably an odd request but does anyone know where I can find the shirt the girl is wearing on the cover? I think it’s really pretty and was hoping someone might recognise it from somewhere.
The new covers are really starting to grow on me, but I still love the older covers better.
I like that idea.
I hate these new covers so much I want to cry. The old ones were classy and fit your books because I feel like they’re different from all the other teen crap that is out there. These covers just sort of loop them into that pit and it makes me really sad. With The Moon and More coming out soon Amazon keeps wanting me to pre-order but I just can’t do it because I don’t want to put that book on my shelve with all the other beautiful ones. I know I probably just sound like a brat, and I know the old covers aren’t going to come back but I don’t think you needed the revamp and I really wish that The Moon and More would have a cover like the others. Classy, timeless, and not teen-y.
