Ah, Labor Day.

I’m trying to put a positive spin on this. It’s not the end of summer; it’s the beginning of fall. And it’s all how you look at it? Right?

I’ve had a productive, yet restful, weekend so far. (Hello, oxymoron!) Some socializing, some cooking, a lot of reading. I got the glass piece of my desk replaced—although I’m currently afraid to put anything on it, hopefully I’ll get over that—and am trying to get my office in some sort of shape. Right now, with part of the roof cut out because of a leak that’s since been fixed, and all the cleanup stuff from the desk breaking, it looks awful, like I’ve either just moved in or am about to move out, everything in piles. It makes me nervous, all this disarray. I need order! So maybe I should get off my butt and get to it. Or, not.

First, I have to do something else, which is take the screwdriver I spent the last thirty minutes searching for and take apart my laser printer, which is not working because there is STILL glass stuck way down deep in its innards. I love this printer, it’s so fast, something you need when you’re printing out three hundred pages at a pop, and I’ve only had it for a few months. I refuse to believe that it is beyond hope. But I am far from handy, so all this poking around makes me a little nervous. Wish me luck!

have a good day everyone…..
