It’s a good day to be in North Carolina. Where else can you 1) enjoy warm and sunny weather at 8:34 on a morning in March 2) have the ACC tournament, which enables you to pretty much slack off at work or school all day, as everyone’s more interested in the games than actually getting anything done 3) revel in the fact that three of the top twelve American Idols are from your home state and 4) have the option (if you can afford it) of living in houses designed by none other than Martha Stewart. Okay, so maybe that last one isn’t all that special. And if you don’t care about Idol, neither is the finalist thing. But there’s still the weather and basketball. And who needs more than that, right?
In other news, my tour stuff is now confirmed, so I’ve been given the go ahead by super publicist Allison to post my schedule. Do keep in mind, though, that it might be a good idea to call ahead to the bookstore and just double-check as stuff gets closer. So without further ado….

So that’s it for the time being. I wish I could go everywhere—especially Canada, because I’ve heard from so many folks up there—but it’s only ten days, and any more and I think I would quite literally collapse. In fact, just looking at that makes me both excited and totally exhausted at the same time. As I’ve said before, bring on the B vitamins!
Finally, the other day I did an interview with Publisher’s Weekly, which you can read here. Funny how every interview lately has mentioned, in one way or another, my TV addiction. This cannot be good for me in terms of my quest to be Literary. Oh, well. At least I still have my weather and basketball.
