In honor of Teen Read Week: did you know you could hear your favorite authors prounounce their names, right in the comfort of your own home? Neither did I. (By the way, mine is kind of lame. I recorded it during some stolen moments at about 7am, though, that’s my excuse.)
Not lame? When someone is so taken by your book that they decide to do something PERMANENT to show it. I have to say I am really flattered by this tattoo that a reader recently got and shared on Sarahland. Not only because it’s very pretty, and I know Wes would approve, but also because I am a total wimp and would never have the nerve to get a tattoo myself. (Although many of those close to me have done it, and several times over. Apparently, they are addictive. All the more reason to not get started, as far as I am concerned. Like I need another bad habit, right?)
Finally, here on the homefront, my girl Sasha has finally decided that she likes her swing. Not only that, but she will sleep in it….as long as you crank up the music the entire time. So right now, she’s crashed, I’m getting computer time and The Foo Fighters are blasting over both of us. I am not complaining, though, because 1) I like the Foo Fighters and 2) having a full hour to do whatever I want, with both hands, is like HEAVEN. Talk about addictive. I think I could get used to this.
