Okay, so I’ve been mocked mercilessly by my family and students for having an AOL account. But the fact is, I’ve had it forever and I don’t have issues. However. Today, at an event at a local school, I was told by a very nice girl named Leigh Anne that her AOL parental controls blocked her from reading my website bio. Apparently, it is scandalous. Somehow. Which is news to me, because it basicially recaps my life which is anything BUTscandalous, but in fact so dull that I’m a fiction writer in order to keep things interesting.
What could it be? The pictures of my dogs? Of me? Maybe I used the word “sucks” or something, which was misconstrued? This is bothersome. If I’m offensive, I at least want to know why. Is that too much too ask?
