It’s raining like crazy here. I feel like I’m in a monsoon.

(But again: this is a good thing. Keep it coming!)

I just went to my user info page and was amazed at how many people have me listed on their friends pages. That’s such a compliment….and I think my posts have been pretty boring lately, since this is about all the writing I’m planning to do for awhile. (I am so burnt on fiction that I’m having problems just completing sentences in any kind of an articulate way. This always happens right after a book comes out.) ) I bounced around to a bunch of different journals, checking out what everyone had to say. I’d add them all to my friends page, but I already waste too much time on the internet as it is.

So last night we watched Lord of the Rings and the first thing I want to tell you is that it made me feel like an idiot: I kept having to stop the DVD and ask my husband, “Now he’s what? And they’re from that, right?” as well as other really stupid questions. Thank God we weren’t in the movie theatre, someone would have beaned me with a box of Jujifriuits but quick. (For the record, I HATE when people talk during movies. Hate it!)

All in all, I thought the movie was good. A lot to keep up with, though. My husband pointed out that I’m just used to simpler viewing, i.e. American Idol (har har) but I guess he’s right. Maybe I need to get more intellectual.

See? I pondered. I didn’t think, I pondered. It’s working already.

I’m going to go curl up with a good book now, and listen to the rain hit our metal roof. Nice…..
