So Britney Spears is auctioning off memorabilia, including old junior high school book reports. Can you imagine what sort of things actually take on value when you get that famous? It’s a little scary. I guess there’s a market for it, though.
I’d like to see someone buy that green halter top/freaky skirt thing, though, from the sweaty I’m-A-Slave-For-You video, and actually WEAR it. You know, you’d probably have to pay a lot, so you might as well get some use out of it. You could wear it to the gas station. To the supermarket. Or just, you know, lounging around the house polishing your silverware, or making devilled eggs, whatever.
For some reason, that just really amuses me. No idea why.
So we are on day three of nonstop rain. I am waiting for animals to start passing by two by two, no joke. This is Memorial Day weekend, folks! It’s supposed to be about fun, and sun, and the official beginning of summer. It’s not supposed to be so, well, depressing I guess is the word I’d pick. I mean, really.
Because it IS the official start of my favorite season, moist or not, I am going to make devilled eggs this weekend. (Not while dressed in a green halter-freaky skirt thing, though.) It is my beginning of summer tradition, after all. A dozen eggs, some mayo, mustard, dill relish, salt and pepper, topped with a sprinkle of paprika…..wonderful. Even in the rain.
have a good day everyone!
