Here we are at the beginning of what is going to be a looooong day. Thank God I have coffee.
First off, I want to thank everyone who came out to Barnes and Noble in Greensboro last night. It was a great crowd, very enthusiastic even though some of them I think were compelled to come because they were promised extra credit for doing so by their teachers. But whatever. I had a great time, and saw a couple of old friends. It was a nice way to end my How to Deal stuff.
Speaking of which, I just heard from Clint at Moviehole, who was kind enough to send along some info on the upcoming How to Deal DVD. Here’s what you can expect:
1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen Transfer
Dolby Digital 5.1 Track
Audio Commentary with Director, Moore and Holden
Mandy Moore Profile Feature
Trent Ford Documentary
Director Profile Feature
How to Deal with Young Adult Literature Documentary
Four Deleted Scenes with Optional Commentary
Billy S Music Video
Why Can’t I Music Video
Theatrical Trailer
DVD-ROM Features
English and Spanish Subtitles
So that is really exciting, especially that the documentary I was filmed for is, in fact, included. Which means I might be included, if only for a second. I will be keeping my fingers crossed permanently now. (Not really, but you get the idea.)
Now, I’m off to class, then to do some editing, then to a cocktail party, then home to finally, FINALLY catch up on my Tivo-ed shows. And, oh yeah, to collapse. Right.
have a good day everyone!
