Loooong day, late entry. Too much stress! So what do I do? I turn to my shredder.
Ah, my shredder. A couple of weeks back, on a whim, I bought a paper shredder at Target. (I am the kind of person who buys office supplies on a whim, yes.) This thing is so freaking fantastic. Everyone should have one. In seconds, it can take any document and, with the grinding of some very impressive sounding gears and blades, turn it into pretty paper confetti. I don’t know why this is so soothing to me, but it is. Whenever I’m feeling really worked up about something, frustrated, whatever, I just find some stuff that needs shredding (or doesn’t, in more desperate situations) and stick it in there. It’s totally cathartic. I highly recommend it.
In other news, Wilmington was great, but the one downside was that I missed American Idol last night. Good thing we know they’ll drag out the results show endlessly, so that I can catch the highlights. And it was disco night, so all the better. It might even make up for the fact that the O.C. is over and done with, which leaves me with very few regular shows to watch these days. Thank God for Starting Over, an hour’s worth of drama every weekday!
I really think I need a hobby. Other than TV and shredding. Oh, and writing. Can’t forget that.
have a good afternoon everyone!
